The most innovative companies of the Spanish cosmetic scene finalists of the Digital Beauty Awards (DBA)

The best companies, professionals and initiatives in digitization and electronic commerce developed in Spain already have a guaranteed prize. The Digital Beauty Awards (DBA), promoted by the Beauty Cluster, is the first event that rewards these companies that have managed to transform themselves after a year of pandemic in which digitization has been essential for the sector to remain at the forefront.

240 nominations have been submitted, and after a detailed analysis by the jury, the best six have been selected to compete for the award within each category. The winners will be announced on September 23 at an exclusive gala that will take place at Casa Milà (La Pedrera) in Barcelona.

Eva Lluch, president of the Beauty Cluster, the largest Spanish cosmetics, perfumery and personal care cluster, states that "we have always been committed to the digital transformation of the sector and now, in addition, we are selflessly promoting these awards to recognize companies that, courageously, they have opted for digitization, electronic commerce or technological innovation".

There is evidence that the digital transformation and the application of deep tech will be essential for the growth and international competitiveness of the Spanish industry and in this line, Ivan Borrego, general manager of the Beauty Cluster and director of the awards, believes that "thanks At these awards we have discovered success stories, technological innovations and reference experts to whom we will give the visibility they deserve so that the industry can be inspired by the best”.

The awards have a jury of experts in digitization, e-commerce and marketing and communication from the beauty sector selected by the cluster itself. The jury is chaired by Álex Vallbona, vice president of the Beauty Cluster and president of Birchbox Europe. It also has great references in digitization such as Genís Roca, Santi Sánchez, Mar Galtés, Rosa Girona, Susan Sánchez, Francesc Font or Rubén Bastón. Also the main media in the sector, communication and design agencies specializing in the beauty industry and various independent experts with proven track records.
