The American footwear firm Skechers has opened its first store in Valencia, located at number 46 Calle Colón. Skechers has rented a 300m2 space that will open its doors in September 2021 and is located in the prime area of the city, where other brands such as Apple, Zara, Mango, Desigual, or Hawkers, among others, are also found.

The opening of this new franchise in Valencia gives continuity to the company's expansion plan in Spain. Currently, Skechers has 52 establishments in the country between franchise and its own stores, located in Barcelona, Madrid and in the main cities of the country.
The operation has been advised by Cushman & Wakefield and by Olivares Consultores. Filipe Do Amaral, Retail Associate at Cushman & Wakefield Spain, stated that "the arrival of Skechers in Valencia demonstrates the good positioning of Calle Colón as a leading commercial hub in Spain and the attractiveness it entails for the big brands". Cushman & Wakefield has already advised the arrival of other brands in this prime area of the city such as Tezenis, Courir or Brandy Melville, among others.
