In the San Panchito Tortery, located south of Mexico City, they know very well that without them our vocabulary simply would not be the same, so they created the series of illustrations speaking Mexican.

Its owner, chef Dorithy Leyte - and in charge of developing the illustrations - did not think the scope of the series.They were published last Thursday, January 31 and at the time of this publication, it has almost 200 thousand 'shared' and more than 3,500 comments on Facebook.

The illustrations are part of the identity of the young restaurant (opened on September 8 of last year), because all its atmosphere is focused on highlighting Mexican folklore, from music, colors, language and, of course, food.

'No seas fresa, al chile, así hablamos los mexicanos'

Regarding the emergence of the illustrations, Leyte commented that he was inspired by the capital's supply center.

So he mixed the illustration with some of the most popular phrases of Mexicans.Not only include fruits and vegetables, but better, have one eye, have you used them in your day to day?

Part of the concept of San Panchito is to highlight the peculiarity of Mexican language, so the names of their cakes refer to the origin of Mexican singer -songwriters;For example, the Chilaquile cake is called Chava Flores, "there is nothing more Chilango than those two," Leyte said.
